Venue

The Mirror Chapel, officially known as the Chapel of the Annunciation, is a stunning example of High Baroque architecture nestled within the historic Klementinum complex in Prague’s Old Town. Built between 1722 and 1726, the chapel earned its name from the numerous ornate mirrors adorning its interior. Originally consecrated in 1784 and again in 1815, it served its religious purpose until 1923 before undergoing a complete restoration. Since 1936, the chapel has hosted cultural events such as concerts and exhibitions, showcasing its timeless elegance. Part of the former Jesuit college, the Klementinum is Prague’s second-largest building complex after Prague Castle, housing the National Library of the Czech Republic and standing as a national cultural monument. Located near the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge, the Klementinum is a centerpiece of Prague’s architectural and cultural heritage.
